SBP increases policy rate to 13.5 per cent

I totally agree with the statement of Dr. Farooq Sattar about Aafia Saddiqi but may I ask one question that where was he his government and her accomplice when sentence was not announced and every citizen of Pakistan knew that she will not be spared by the American Government. The gardener’s world

Nice article but does not cover details for the gardeners. It would have been much better if you would have added few more things, like making of soil, manure which fertilizer is used for the plants to keep them green etc etc. However it is good idea for the public to maintain small gardens or grow plants in or out door.

The head of the department is always responsible for the act of his subordinates. It is the head who gives instructions and set a trend of dealing with the public. But in Pakistan this is the tragedy that the big guns are always given advantage of benefit of doubt. And this is nothing new. Soon he will be discharged from the charges and again appointed to support the same acts. Furthermore his near ones are also serving the police department. We are striving for justice which is only meant for the elites and not the public. Had been their an ordinary citizen he could have never get out of such situation.

Pakistan reacts to Aafia's sentence, demands repatriation

Our Government was least interested in the case of Dr. Aafia. It was her moral obligation to bring her back but no practical efforts were done to justify the act of bringing her back to Pakistan. Basically this government is the continuation of Perviaz Musharaf and has adopted the same polices which he left before leaving the chair. Same policies but different faces. What 32 dead school children are saying

Well it is a sad incident which took place due to the negligence of the school authorities and the concerned driver who was riding the bus. God may bless their families and give patience to bear this loss. But do not blame the politicians, We are the ones who bring them to the position of rulers. We are so sentimental that we praise the personalities not the ideology. We do not want to listen a single word against Bhutto or Benazir Bhutto. We do not want to listen a word against Nawaz Sharif and many more. Stop idolizing the persons.There will be no need of army rule or any thing.Vote for the right one and feel the difference.

A new system of education

Since the birth of Pakistan we are in a stage of making policies and doing experiments in the field of education but no revolutionary change has taken place. The change can only come through sincere implementation of polices and they should be made once. Every year we come with new suggestions and try to implement them but due to lack of follow up the end result is nothing.but always frustrating. To educate the nation is not a rocket science. The simple point is that we are not interested to impart education. Their are multiple systems of education prevailing in our country. To deliver basic education is the responsibility of the state. The state should allocate reasonable budget for education which is never allocated because we do not want to educate our people. We are afraid of them . We do not provide any facility to the students and help them out. We have now introduce private tuition system also which is very expensive. The state should make a long term policy, monitor it and one system of education should be introduced.Proper budget should be allocated and political influence should be withdrawn. Education system will become better and literacy rate will also be improved.

Poor Services of PTCL despite increase in Tariff Rates

PTCL services deteriorating day by day despite increase in Tariff Rates.

The PTCL workers are on strike and due to non working of the staff users are in a great fix now a days says CRF. The ptcl announced up gradation of broadband packages and announced double band width with an increase in the tariff rates. However the department has started charging the new tariff rates but has not given the facility of enhanced broad band width as announced earlier. The student package provided by the company has also withdrawn from them leaving them in a state of frustration and anxiety.  The PTCL has been continuously increasing the rates without any notification since the day it has been handed over to a foreign company.

Fake statements of DG WASA FSD

Director General FDA Dr.Arshad Mahmood is always giving fake and false statement regarding recovery of Wasa dues from the defaulters. Earlier he has given numerous such statements and orders which have never been implemented by the concerned department. CRF asks the DG FDA if he is unable to collect the revenue from the defaulters then why he repeatedly gives such bogus statements just to show his efficiency.Spoke person of  CRF said that such statements were given in the past also by DG FDA to WASA  authorities but they are after the poor citizens for so called recovery of the arrears but reluctant to even send a notice to the elite class and real tax evaders.

Mohammad Sohail Irshad Director Citizen Rights Foundation and Former City President Pakistan Tehreek Insaf has collected donations for the flood victims of Pakistan on Eid ul Fitr day. Mohammad Sohail stood in the line of beggars and asked for donations. Talking to the media he said that CRF is active and working day and night to provide relief to the displaced persons due to torrential rains and heavy floods. He further said that long span of time and hard work is required to meet the losses.
